My career began in the 90s at a leading B2B agency in London, where I created ads, posters, DM, brochures and radio and TV scripts. Those were the days of big marketing spends and long, boozy lunches. Marvellous.
Formerly a professional actor, I've worked in theatre and on TV, most notably in Doctor Who with Bonnie and Sylvester. It didn't pay the bills. Now I prefer to write intelligent, witty scripts and screenplays for other actors.
A trained journalist, my articles – in my own name and for clients – have been published in many glossy magazines. My specialist interests are arts, property, food, design, lifestyle and travel.

I'm obsessive about spelling, punctuation and grammar and can spot a typo a mile off. This makes reading the Guardian challenging but I know where to use a semi-colon, and when I should be discreet rather than discrete.
